Call to Order: Our president, Tonia Cormier presided of the regular meeting of ABWA SWAPEN Express Network, which was held on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at the Sugar Creek Country Club. There were a total of 23 attendees, 13 members and 10 guests present.

Annual Theme: "Share the Power"

Recognition: Tonia welcomed our guest and recognized Woman of the Year, Bonnie Schexnayder; Woman of Excellence & Sponsor, Jane Spellman and Sponsor Suzette Peoples. Special thanks were given to Bonnie Schnexnayder and Patsy Strikeleather for the Madis Gras Theme for this month. It was quite a festive atmosphere.

Minutes: Beth Tabak, placed Minutes of December 12, 2006, on each table. The minutes were corrected and approved. Thomasine thanked Beth for taking the December meeting minutes. Special note, January 16, 2007 meeting was cancelled due to weather conditions.

Treasurers Report: The Treasurer, Jane Spellman distributed the Treasurer's Report.

Program: The Vice President of Programming, Joyce Strimple introduced the guest speaker, Germaine Porche .

Topic: "The 5 Keys to Grow Your Business"

Introductions: Each person introduced themselves and their business to the group. We had 10 guests! Carolyn Staples, Pauline Pruitt, Pati Hilegard, Lola Jackson, Pauline Taylor, Lisa Moody, Chrita Ro (joined), Judy Gulgin and Sophia Burns.

Give Away: After introductions Patsy Stikeleather presented the give away.

Business:
§ Top Ten Nominations was discussed.
§ Spring Conference is March 30-31, 2007. We are concentrating on having at least 6 attendees for the conferences. There is a conference in New Mexico also. We discussed the criteria to obtain awards for club.
§ Terry Hausner gave a report for the HAC meeting she attended. The next meeting is April 26, 2007.
§ Suzette peoples gave feedback on the Education Cruise. Everyone had a great time and plan to keep this as an annual event.
§ Theme Meetings were discussed for the upcoming meetings.

Announcements:
§ Suzette Peoples announced the LORREN meeting for February 21, 2007 and encouraged our members to attend for support.
§ Terry Hausner announced a special calligrapher class for SWAPEN members
§ Announcement was made for articles for the upcoming newsletter.
§ Jane Spellman announced a happy hour for today at Ragin Cajun.
